I never know what the best way is to react here whenever I don’t make progress.

I can dwell on it, make excuses, and act all bummed, but that’s not a mindset I like to get into, and makes for a depressing blog, which doesn’t make for good reading.

I can shrug it off and keep going, but that has its own problems: there are names—and not good ones—for the kind of person who says “I’m gonna get real big” all the time and doesn’t appear to do anything about it.

Y’all let me know how I’m doin’ sometime.

Anyway.
Meal plan for week of 11/22–11/28, average ~3000 calories, result +0 lbs:

  • Breakfast: Muffin.
  • Lunch: Seitan sandwich, potato chips.
  • Dinner: Rice and beans.
  • Snack: Italian bread and dipping oil. Cheese. Marinated black olives.

Of course Thanksgiving came along near the end of the week and messed with that, so.

In unrelated news, one project I’ve been planning to start is an encourager bot for the #gainerfurs IRC channel. Besides keeping track of people’s weights (and changes therein) and regular snack reminders/suggestions, what kind of features should such a program have?
