196; StupidGit morphs.

As expected, I lost some weight over the vacation; luckily it wasn’t as much as I thought it might be. Still, it’s a setback, and I’ll have to work to make up for it… may not be able to do it next week though, because I had to make up my grocery order while my computer was down, and I didn’t have DietPower on hand to make out my calorie budgets, so I’m pretty sure I’ll be coming up short.

I envy people who actually manage to gain weight over the holidays.

I don’t like the feeling of being empty. It’s still not enough to get me up and eating—appetite still sucks—but definitely it lets me know I want to keep growing.

Speaking of growing, Pete over at gitbigger.com just posted a current pic of himself with a drawing of himself at a larger size side-by-side. He mentioned morphing it, and I got the itch to dust off my old copy of Morpheus and give it a swing.

He says it’s meant to be around 450 lbs, but he pretty much doubles in diameter here; I figure if he’s starting from a 44″ waist and ~240 lbs, the last frame of the morph is about 80-90 inches around… I’d be surprised if we’re looking at less than 600 here.

I made it to 198 lbs this week with the help of the greasiest enchiladas ever. (Extended the enchilada sauce with oil for an extra calorie punch.) This is about the highest weight I’ve attained so far—while I have reported higher numbers before, that was on the old scale which gives inconsistent but generally more generous weights; if I were still using it I could say I’m 210 again now.

I’m totally enjoying the shape of my belly so far. Where bellyrubs now involve getting under the overhang, that’s a big win in my book.

I don’t expect much in the way of progress for the next week or so because I’ll be leaving Wednesday night for Chicago for MFF and won’t be back till Monday, and I never have been too good at eating well at cons. (But then, who knows?)  For the same reason, there probably won’t be a progress post next week.

197.

Made good progress from last week, I think, bumping from just under 195 to just over 197.  Didn’t reach my last stated goal of 200 by this time, though, and since 205 is even further, while 200 is too close to be interesting, I’m setting my next goal to be 203 by this time next month, which will give me a nice round BMI of 30.

It’s true this is twice in a row that I haven’t met my goals, but on the other hand I’ve been aiming high and moving upwards steadily—last night I took a look back to the end of August, when I first started this current gaining drive, and saw I’m actually up 13 lbs since then, and that’s nothing to sneeze at.
